Sponsored by TasPorts, a partnership between the Australian Society of Marine Artists (ASMA) and the Lady Nelson, ten leading Australian marine artists sailed the Tasmanian coastline aboard the this tall ship, gaining inspiration from the natural, physical and cultural marine environments of their journey. These artists from TAS, SA, NSW, QLD & Norfolk Island shared their experiences and references with the entire society. The artwork created from this experience includes an exciting mix of traditional & contemporary painting, sculpture & printmaking.
